BK's Sneaky Adds for Week 8 on the Waiver Wire!

The Waiver Wire Wizard is Back

The Pick-up Prince, the Infallible Fabulous FAAB, whatever you want to call me really. Let’s make some pick-ups. This is what separates the boys from the men in fantasy football.

Any site can give you the heavy hitters, here are my favorite SNEAKY adds at each position.

QB- JJ McCarthy- Its possible that he’ll be back for TNF but if not now, then probably next week. This is more of a deeper league stash but this is still a guy who is throwing the ball to Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, even if we’ve sold some of our JJ stock. 25 fantasy points in week 1, never forget.

RB- Tyler Allgier- I don’t know if this guy is available in your league but you should go and snatch him if he is. A phenomenal bye week replacement if you are depleted due to the bye weeks, Allgier faces a run defense that is going to turn some backs into Pro Bowlers before the year is over. The Dolphins are among the worst in the league, so not only is this a good idea because (God forbid) if anything were to happen to Bijan, he would be gold, but I think he has flex appeal this week. Much much sneakier- Devin Neal with the Saints, he’ll pick up where Kendre Miller (out with an ACL injury) left off.

WR- Xavier Legette- I keep waiting for a #2 to appear in the Panthers passing attack, maybe it’ll never come, or maybe we struck some gold with Legette this week. 9 catches for 92 yards and a touchdown. And that was with Jalen Coker back in the lineup, so him solidifying himself as part of this passing attack is very encouraging, especially when you consider his real life 1st round grade from a couple years ago.

TE- Oronde Gadsden- OFFICIALLY NOT SNEAKY, but if I didn’t type it, I’d be letting you all down. Gadsden blew up in Week 7 for 164 receiving yards on seven receptions — 40 more than any other tight end in a game this season. Chargers TE’s off the waiver wire, brings me back to the days of Antonio Gates. Yes, Gates was a waiver wire pick-up…probably where this obsession began, I’ll bring it up with my therapist.

DST- Bucs- You could do worse. It seems like Spencer Rattler’s clock has struck midnight and he’s turning back into a pumpkin, 3 picks last week against a so-so Bears defense. More turnovers and more sacks could light up the scoreboard for your new DST.
