BK's Sneaky Adds for Week 7 on the Waiver Wire!

The Waiver Wire Wizard is Back

The Pick-up Prince, the Infallible Fabulous FAAB, whatever you want to call me really. Let’s make some pick-ups. This is what separates the boys from the men in fantasy football.

Any site can give you the heavy hitters, here are my favorite SNEAKY adds at each position.

QB- Dillon Gabriel- DG had 19 fantasy points in his first outing as a starter. Poor effort in the following week but that was in Pittsburgh, coming off a trip to London, with no bye week, so we’ll excuse the guy. Gabriel plays Miami this week and that has been fertile ground for opposing QB’s, the Phins rank 30th in PPG given up to the QB position. You can do worse in terms of bye week replacements or in 2QB leagues.

RB- Hassan Haskins- I don’t often do this, but I’m going back to the well on this one. Haskins was my ‘sneaky’ nominee at RB last week and I’m doing it again despite him doing nothing in fantasy. Here’s the thing, I know Vidal tore up the Dolphins, but that is an increasingly easy thing to do. Haskins was still the RB in the game on the final drive when McKonkey flew down the field and eventually secured the win for LA. Haskins pass blocking will keep him involved, he should absolutely be rostered and the RB position is bleak out on the wire this week.

WR- Kayshon Boutte- I don’t if this qualifies as sneaky but I’m rolling with it anyway, Boutte might be my favorite add of the week. We’ve now seen 2 games this season where Kayshon Boutte has received 5 targets or more, only 2, but he’s been outstanding in both. I can’t imagine the Pats look at what he’s done and say to themselves “we should involve him less”. I’m buying Boutte stock right now.

TE- Tyler Higbee- Higbee could quietly be the biggest beneficiary of Puka Nacua’s absence. Nacua loves to work the middle of the field, and he does so with the utmost perfection, not a lot of the other speedster/gadgety guys on the Rams can do that. So while I’m certainly not saying that Higbee can be Nacua 2.0, Stafford will need a reliable target over the middle of the field, Higbee can be that. He caught 4 passes for 40 yards and a score, a lot of that done after Nacua went down vs BAL.

DST- Falcons- #1 in DVOA (a schedule adjusted efficiency metric for defense) on the defensive side of the ball and they just held Josh Allen to 14 points. Plus, I love the fact that they are already done with their bye week, so that’s 1 less thing you have to worry about among your many fantasy concerns.
