The Pick-up Prince, the Infallible Fabulous FAAB, whatever you want to call me really. Let’s make some pick-ups. This is what separates the boys from the men in fantasy football.
Any site can give you the heavy hitters, here are my favorite SNEAKY adds at each position.
QB- Bryce Young- I know it sounds crazy but the Dolphins defense has been brutal. They get zero pressure on opposing QB’s and the Dolphins – to this point – have allowed the 2nd most points to the QB position in fantasy, trailing only the Dallas Cowboys.
RB- Kendre Miller- Love what I saw from him last week against Buffalo. It felt like every time Scott Hanson swung us back to the Saints/Bills game, Miller was carrying the rock or doing something to help that Saints offense matriculate down the field. Miller is the clear handcuff to an aging RB with high usage. Don’t be surprised if this is a league-winner down the stretch.
Side note: Keep an eye on Bucky Irving this week. Could be a Sean Tucker game.
WR- Malik Washington- The Dolphins lost Tyreek Hill and while there is no direct replacement for a man of that speed, there are options. Jaylen Waddle will certainly see an uptick, but I think Malik Washington’s usage is going to go through the roof. He is the gadgety speed guy in the offense, 2nd year with the team, we saw him even more involved after Hill went down. If Mike McDaniel wants to mirror some of Hill’s deep threat abilities, this is who he’ll do it with.
TE- Mason Taylor- The Jets are severely lacking a secondary option in the pass game. This sort of void creates opportunities in fantasy. He caught five passes for 65 yards on MNF, giving him the best receiving game by a wide receiver or tight end not named Garrett Wilson. He’s playing nearly 80% of snaps too, so it looks like his role in the offense is solidified. He doesn’t get to play the Phins every week, but still, TE’s with a pulse are worth a look on Tuesday nights.
DST- Cardinals- The Titans can’t do anything offensively, take the free points. Sneakier- the Saints, start 2 for Jaxson Dart and without Malik Nabors – this could get gross.
