Waivers: Don't Blow the Budget on These Commanders RB's

Waivers!

Interesting time of the year, we are still in the infancy stages of 2025, yet it feels like we’ve lived 1,000 lives with these injuries.

Purdy, Najee, James Conner, Tyrone Tracy, CeeDee Lamb, Mike Evans…its endless! But, thankfully we have the Wire.

Let’s see who we can pluck @ each of these positions.

QB- Geno Smith is a great spot-start option. The Bears may have had their way with the Cowboys, but this is still a bad defense. And another thing to consider is that the Raiders have not been able to run the football. Everything is on Geno right now, he should be able to help you this week. Longer term though, see if Brock Purdy got dropped, he should be back soon (potentially even this week).

RB- Trey Benson should be the #1 pickup in fantasy, period. But I’m guessing he’s not available in your leagues. I know folks are going to rush to pick up Chris Rodriguez and/or Jeremy McNichols, and this is not be telling you NOT to do that…I simply need to state, that this is very much a 3-headed monster in Washington. All 3: C-Rod, McNichols, and Bill were used in a rotation throughout the game. Pick one of them up, don’t blow the budget. You’ll regret it.

WR- Tre Tucker. Duh. He only finished with 145 yards and 3 TD’s. He was the #1 target getter for Geno Smith, above Brock Bowers. Nothing about this stat line was flukey, might blow some dumb FAAB just to make sure none of my league mates beat me to the punch on this. Parker Washington is a sneaky add for the Jags. Eye-test wise, he’s quietly the best receiver on the team. (11 targets last week). One more for the road- Fifth-round rookie wide receiver Tory Horton has climbed to third on the Seahawks‘ depth chart, playing 95.4% of snaps in three-receiver sets.

TE- Hunter mother f’n Henry. TE1 this week. Outside of that, Chig Okonkwo balled out, if you can handle a Titan on your roster. And Isaiah Likely should be back soon, Lamar has been unloading on these TE’s – could be worth an add if you’ve got the space.
