People say that summer is grilling season. For me, it’s the fall/winter. I like when the grill heats me up on the back patio – that to me feels like grilling season. Not standing by a hot grill when its in the mid-90’s.

Either way – in honor of true grilling season starting up – we’re going to play the roll of grill masters – and tell you which NFL teams are already COOKED.

·  Jets

0-2. Justin Fields is hurt. Even if he wasn’t – a 1.1 QB rating against the Bills, gross. Their defense is bad, their offense is worse. THEY ARE COOKED.

· Dolphins

Mike McDaniel makes it to week 4 it’ll be unlikely. If they don’t get blasted by 30 on TNF, it’ll be a miracle. Somehow their defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver is the leader in the clubhouse to become the new HC if Mike gets fired – and the defense stinks. Mahi Mahi. They are COOKED.

· Giants

Russ was cooking in their last game, but the defense got torched – and then inexplicably Brian Daboll throws the Jaxson Dart package out there, despite the team still being alive in the 4th – they call that the TANKING PACKAGE. COOKED.

· Steelers

Aaron Rodgers is over the hill and the defense is overrated. The Jets scored 42 points on this defense – and they are terrible. They rank 29th in scoring defense – the only chance they had was being good on defense and then game managing on offense – they’re bad at both. They are COOKED.

· Bears

When you can’t block, you can’t rush the passer, and your QB tries to play superman on every other play – it’s a bad combination. Here’s the good news, Rome Odunze looks good – he’s tied for the league lead with 3 TD receptions through two weeks – the bad news is – they’re COOKED.

· Panthers…

Thought this team was going to be better. Thought they were going to be scrappy this year – not so much. Bryce young still looks confused and crumbles at the first sign of contact – but its ok – they’ll just run the ball to alleviate their mediocre QB play…nope… As a team, the Panthers averaged just 2.6 yards per attempt and rushed for 49 yards. THEY ARE COOKED.
