A pretty epic edition of 'Mic'd Up' after a wild college football week 1. Needless to say, Alabama fans are less than enthused...the clip of the angry Bama fan is in the pod clip below, but to set the scene a bit:

The Florida State Seminoles. Perhaps the biggest win of the weekend when you consider what this program and this fan base went through a year ago.

Bama takes the opening drive down the field 70+ yards, physical domination and it felt like it was going to be a long day and a long season for the Noles – but once Tommy Castellanos touched the football and Gus Malzahn started calling plays, everything shifted. In the moment, it didn’t feel like that game was “all florida state” – I think just because of my disbelief of what I was watching. But in hindsight, it very much was. That was a thumping. If you take away the 49 yards rushing from Bama on the opening drive – FSU out rushed them 230-38.

Bama doubled them up on penalties, FSU was more efficient on 3rd down…it was a masterclass.

So many different angles to this but first and foremost – a kudos to the bulldog – who didn’t just nail the spread, he picked FSU to win outright. Unreal. Anyway, enjoy the audio, and we'll chat later today.
