a QB has been named…reportedly…Matt Zenitz from CBS Sports was the first to report on this. UCF is set to name FAU transfer Cam Fancher as its starting quarterback – he had been competing with Indiana transfer Tayven Jackson and former Miami QB Jacurri Brown. Fancher has made 26 career college starts at FAU and Marshall.

I dug into the film today – andI can see why Frost likes the guy. He’s 6’2 – a little taller than McKenzie Milton was – but he has the same sort of make-magic outta nothing ability. He’s an improvisor. 4 years of college experience – 60% completion rate. I still think there’s more upside with Tayven Jackson…but the more I look into this…the less surprised I am by it.
