Jaguars vs Bengals Recap

JacksoThe Jacksonville Jaguars improved to 3–1 Sunday with a gritty 22–17 road victory over the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium.

Trevor Lawrence completed 18 of 23 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown, while Brenton Strange led Jacksonville with seven catches for 95 yards. Chris Rodriguez Jr. delivered one of the biggest plays of the afternoon with a 25-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that gave the Jaguars a 22–10 advantage.

Jacksonville’s defense made the difference despite Joe Burrow throwing for 428 yards. The Jaguars intercepted Burrow twice, including a crucial fourth-quarter pick by Foyesade Oluokun in the red zone.

Cincinnati made one final push, cutting the lead to five and driving deep into Jacksonville territory in the closing minute. But on fourth-and-10, Rayuan Lane stopped Chase Brown one yard short of the first-down marker to seal the victory.

It wasn’t always pretty — Jacksonville committed 13 penalties for 125 yards — but the Jaguars found a way to win another tough AFC road game.

Final: Jaguars 22, Bengals 17. Jacksonville moves to 3–1.
