Florida Gators WR Kahleil Jackson will miss the remainder of the 2024 season after suffering an ACL injury.
Jackson shared on social media that his Friday surgery went smoothly, and he is doing well.
Jackson is a former walk-on quarterback from Hawthorne High School who converted to wide receiver and obtained a scholarship and starting spot for the Gators in 2023.
In that 2023 season as a redshirt sophomore, Jackson totaled 21 receptions for 251 yards with a touchdown. In the season opener vs Miami last weekend, he recorded one reception for 13 yards.

Kahleil Jackson is one of several legacy players on the Florida roster. He is the son of former wide receiver Willie Jackson Jr., nephew of running back Terry Jackson, and grandson of wide receiver Willie Jackson Sr. The Jackson family has all worn the No. 22 jersey in Gainesville.
With Jackson's injury, his snaps will go to Arizona State transfers Elijah Badger and Marcus Burke.
In the Gator's season opener, Badger recorded three receptions for 43 yards in his Florida debut.
