The Jaguars signed veteran safety Adrian Amos, reuniting him with fellow former Green Bay Packer Darnell Savage. After visiting with the team last week, the two sides came to terms. Amos and Savage spent four seasons together in the Packers secondary from 2019-2022.
Amos spent time with the Jets and Texans last season, recording 23 tackles in 11 games. This signing makes sense, as safety Andrew Wingard is expected to miss significant time with a knee injury.
Jaguars sign defensive tackle Johnathan Marshall. The 2021 sixth-round pick of the New York Jets spent time on the Jets and Steelers practice squads during 2023. This gives the team another body in camp following the release of defensive tackle Adam Gotsis.
The Jaguars waive cornerback Gregory Junior. If he clears waivers, he will revert to the team’s injured reserve list.
