Monday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Brady Quinn and Jonas Knox try to make sense of how the Cleveland Browns plan on managing an overcrowded Quarterback Room with the additions of Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.
Brady Quinn: "How's it gonna work? You have four new players, two of which are rookies, one that's on his rookie deal that's played some but not a ton, and you got to get all these guys prepared reps for someone to start.
I mean, I understand clearly the Cleveland Browns are trying to address the quarterback position, but I don't think they're doing Shedeur any favors. If you're just basing it purely off of the draft pick and what guys have signed for and what guys are being paid, and everything else that goes along with that, he's the least valued. He's the guy that starts day one of the roster as fourth string, assuming Deshaun Watson isn't healthy back as part of that whole mix... I look at this as actually quite possibly one of the worst situations."
Jonas Knox: "Andrew Berry's face looked like somebody was literally electrocuting his dog right in front of him... And for an organization that has tried to openly distance themselves from a circus that is Deshaun Watson, they've just invited another one in."
Brady Quinn: "It's not often times that you have an owner involved in a fifth round draft pick. I think Jimmy Haslam was here."
