Tallahasee, FL - The Florida Highway Patrol has officially entered a striking black and tan 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray into the 2025 Best Looking Cruiser competition, hoping to win for the third consecutive year.

The public voting window runs from June 30th at 10 a.m. until July 11st at noon, and the top vehicle will be featured on the cover of the 2026 calendar by the American Association of State Troopers.

The Corvette was allegedly seized during a joint criminal investigation involving the Drug Enforcement Administration and Florida Highway Patrol, aimed at dismantling a widespread narcotics operation.

According to state officials, the vehicle was forfeited following the conviction of the suspected trafficker and was not purchased with taxpayer funds.

The high-performance car has since been equipped with law enforcement tools such as emergency lights, communication systems, and sirens.

Although it cannot transport detainees due to its two-seat design, the vehicle is now used for public safety outreach, particularly at traffic awareness events throughout Florida.

FHP leaders said the Miami skyline backdrop featured in the contest photo adds visual impact and represents Florida’s vibrant culture and commitment to safety.

The AAST calendar raises funds for scholarships, survivor benefits, and disaster relief for troopers nationwide.

Florida officials are urging residents to vote and help defend their title, while also supporting the cause behind the contest.
