FIFA Unveils Official World Cup 2026 Match Ball "The TRIONDA "

The adidas FIFA World Cup 2026 official match ball "The TRIONDA " has been officially revealed.

The ball that will be used at all 104 matches across the 16 host cities including Miami and Orlando next summer and highlights features of the three nations hosting, Canada, Mexico, and the U.S.

The name, "TRIONDA" combines the term "tri-" (for the co-hosts) and the Spanish word "Onda," means wave or vibe.

It's an adidas tradition since 1970 to name the official World Cup ball.

The colors on the ball's panels (red, green, and blue) are a nod to the three host nations. And there's a star for the U.S., an eagle for Mexico, a maple leaf for Canada

Gold accents represent the FIFA World Cup trophy.

"Each arm is dedicated to each host nation and reunites in the middle of the ball in the form of a triangle, which showcases how they’re hosting the World Cup together," said Solène Störmann, Global Category Director of Football Hardware for adidas. 

The tournament starts June 11, 2026, and runs through July 19, 2026.
