Lightning Bounce Back With Win Over Blue Jackets

The Tampa Bay Lightning (36-21-4) defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets (30-23-8) 6-2 on Tuesday night at Amalie Arena. It was a big bounce-back win for Tampa Bay, who saw their eight-game winning streak spanned by the Florida Panthers on Monday.

Mitchell Chaffee scored just thirty-seconds into the game, and Nikita Kucherov scored 1:07 later to give Tampa Bay an early lead. Kucherov finished with three points, as did Victor Hedman, who had two goals and an assist in the win. Jonas Johansson went 30-of-32 in net to get the win.

The Lightning are next in action when they host the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Thursday night at Amalie Arena.
