Liam Coen's first hire as the new head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars addresses the defense, the team announced today that they have hired Anthony Campanile to be the team's next defensive coordinator.
Campanile was a decorated coach at the high school level before stints with Rutgers, Michigan, and Boston College.
This will be Campanile's third stop in the NFL, and first time coordinating a defense. From 2020-2023, he was the linebackers coach for the Miami Dolphins and in 2024 he was the linebackers coach and run game coordinator for the Green Bay Packers.
An important coordinator hire for Coen, who will serve as the both the team's head coach and offensive play-caller.
