A surprising wave of news hit Tallahassee this morning as Florida State head basketball coach Leonard Hamilton is being sued by six former players for over $1.5 million for missed NIL payments and unfulfilled promises between the staff and players, per Ross Dellenger.
"The complaint details a team-wide boycott of practice last season over the payments", said Dellenger via X / Twitter.
The six players tied to this situation include Darin Green Jr., Josh Nickelberry, Primo Spears, Cam'Ron Fletcher, De'Ante Green, and Jalen Warley - reportedly each of them were promised upwards of $250,000 in NIL payments from business partners close to the program.
Tied within the complaint, there are multiple text message exchanges including Hamilton, the players listed, and Will Cowen, an executive within one of the Seminoles' NIL collectives.
