With the offseason kicking into full gear in Tallahassee, the first member of the Seminoles roster to declare for the NFL Draft has happened.
Florida State defensive tackle Joshua Farmer has declared for the 2025 NFL Draft, per Noles247.
Farmer signed with Florida State in Mike Norvell's first recruiting class back in 2021 (2020 pandemic year was not a full class), and was the first commitment of that class, coming out of high school he was a three-star prospect and the #118 ranked defensive linemen in the country.
He redshirted in the 2021 season, became a rotational depth piece in 2022 where he appeared in all 13 games recording 15 total tackles, six for loss, with two sacks.
2023 was a breakout year for Farmer, starting 13 games and totaling 32 tackles, seven for loss, with five sacks, two pass break ups, and a forced fumble.
Despite the poor showing for the program in 2024, Farmer had a solid campaign with 32 tackles, eight for loss, and four sacks.
The 6-foot-3, 318 pounder is projected to be day 2 or day 3 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
