Today the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Houston Texans in an AFC South rivalry battle. Houston won the first contest earlier in the season (24 to 20). Houston comes in this game a little beat up on the defensive side of the ball. Key players such as DT Fatukasi and S Pitre will not play today. The Jags will be without LB Yasir Abdullah for today's match. QB Trevor Lawrence is slated to return to the lineup today in hopes of giving the Jags a spark in the offense.

Sunday was started with the news that Jacksonville. made the decision to extend OL Walker Little. “Walker is a homegrown talent who has grown up in our system”, said General Manager Trent Baalke. “Time and time again, Walker stepped in when needed, and stepped up his game at the tackle position. This is a great opportunity for a young player that we see every day on the practice field, who we believe will be playing his best football in the coming years.” Little was originally selected by Jacksonville in the second round (45th overall) of the 2021 Draft. He has appeared in 51 games making 21 starts, including 11 games played with four starts in 2024. Little has also started in two postseason games.

Games between the Jags and Texans have always been an interesting watch. Houston leads the all time series 35 to 10. Today's game kicks off at 1pm in Jacksonville inside EverBank Stadium on Fox.
