Georgia Injury Updates Ahead of Texas

The Georgia Bulldogs (5-1, 3-1 SEC) are preparing for a potential classic primetime matchup in Austin against the Texas Longhorns on Saturday at 7:30 PM ET.

The Dawgs have designated two contributors from the running back room to be OUT and listed two linemen as probable for Saturday's contest.

  • RB Roderick Robinson II - OUT
  • RB Branson Robinson - OUT

Roderick Robinson has missed the last five weeks with an ankle injury.

Branson Robinson went down during Saturday's game with what appeared to be a lower leg injury. Robinson returned to the field in 2024 after missing all last season with a ruptured patella tendon.

"Branson has an MCL. I don't know how many weeks it'll be. He will not be able to play this week," said Coach Smart. The timeline is impossible to tell because the MCL will have to repair itself. It was not the same leg injury that he had. It's different."

  • OL Tate Ratledge - Questionable
  • Jordan Hall - Probable
  • Jared Wilson - Probable

Starting center Jared Wilson missed last week's contest vs. Mississippi State; Drew Bobo started in his place.

“Jared’s been practicing. Seems to be doing more the last two days than he has in previous weeks,” Smart said. “That’s good, and he repped out there today.”

Hall underwent leg surgery in August to repair a stress fracture. He hopes to make his season debut on Saturday against Texas.

Tate Ratledge has been sidelined since leaving the Kentucky game. He underwent tightrope surgery and has been battling an MCL sprain.
