Jahzare Jackson decides to commit to the University of Georgia. Jackson, 20, has been in Georgia for the last few years playing AAU ball for Overtime Elite. The boarding school has a campus in Midtown Atlanta near Atlantic Station.
He will report to the team soon and join the 2024 roster. The Bulldogs added six massive OLs for the expected 2025 rebuild of their offensive front. The “Great Wall of Georgia” already had signed more OLs than any other power program in the country. When he suits up for the Dawgs, he is believed to be the biggest OL in the history of the program. That will bring to mind names like recent first-round pick Amarius Mims (6-8/340), first-rounder Bernard Williams (6-9/317) in the 1990s, Dennis Roland (6-9/309) in the 2000s and Craig “Sky” Hertwig (6-8/260) in the 1970s.
