Lamical Perine was asked Monday if he considers Tennessee to be one of Florida’s rivals. He didn't shy away.
“I wouldn’t say it’s a rivalry,” Perine told reporters. “It’s just another game. I wouldn’t call it a rivalry. LSU, that’s a rival game. We look at Tennessee like it’s just another game."
Perine was a freshman in 2016 when UT last beat Florida. . That was the famous Florida game that Tennessee roared back to win after Quincy Wilson's infamous “ducks don’t pull trucks” quotes.
Florida and Tennessee play in Gainesville on Sept. 21.
