Former Florida State QB Deondre Francois was rumored last month to be heading to Florida Atlantic University as a walk on for Lane Kiffin, but it now appears that Francois could be eyeing Alabama State as a destination.
FAUOwlAccess.com reported last week that sources told them that Francois coming into the program "won't happen", and per Maria Martin of WSFA 12 confirmed that Francois did spend last Friday on Alabama State's campus.
If Francois did join Alabama State, he would have a chance to play his former program as the Hornets head to Tallahassee to play the Seminoles on November 11th. Francois was dismissed from the program earlier this offseason amid domestic violence allegations.
