UGA's Tyrique Stevenson Is The Third Bulldog To Be Arrested This Off-Season

According to the Athens-Clarke County Jail Freshman UGA DB UGA's Tyrique Stevenson was booked into the county jail at 2:42 a.m. and released less than an hour later at 3:26 a.m. on a $1000 bond. Stevenson enrolled in January, and was a 5-star recruit out of Miami Southridge High School before coming to Georgia.

Tyrique is the second UGA Football Player to be arrested in the last week, and the third within the last Month.

“This type of behavior is extremely disappointing and not representative of the standards for our football student-athletes,” UGA Head Coach Kirby Smart said after Latavious Brini’s arrest on February 28th. “His discipline will be handled internally and hopefully good lessons will be learned that will lead to better choices moving forward.”

No further details on Stevenson's arrest have been released, nor has Kirby Smart made a public comment on the matter.
