Miami Hurricanes transfer QB Tate Martell has been granted a hardship waiver by the NCAA, allowing Martell to play immediately for the Canes next year.

Martell is a redshirt sophomore who transferred into the program following Justin Field's transfer from Ohio State to Georgia.
