The former Jaguars quarterback signs a 1 year deal with the Rams to back up Jared Goff. Bortles was cut by the Jags on March 13 after the team signed Nick Foles as their quarterback.
According to NFL.com the Ravens and Broncos were also interest in Bortles. Both teams never got to meet with him because the trip to L.A. was the only place he visited before signing.
