Tim Tebow has arrived at Mets Spring Training. As he begins his 3rd year in the minors he was asked about those that have doubted he could do it. What Tebow said in response was inspirational gold!
“You’re always going to have critics and naysayers and people that are going to tell you that you won’t, that you can’t, that you shouldn’t. Most of those people are the people that didn’t, that wouldn’t, that couldn’t,” Tebow said.
Tebow is expected to start the season with Syracuse, the MetsTriple-A affiliate.
He’s coming off a strong season at the Double-A level and some have speculated that he could be on the Mets’ big league roster by the end of the regular season.
The former Heisman Trophy winner hit .273 with six home runs and a .734 on-base plus slugging percentage in 84 games last season.
