According to CBS Sports Jason LaCanfora the Jaguars have identified Joe Flacco as one of their primary quarterback options for 2019, and have held internal conversations about a possible trade.
Flacco, 33, was replaced by Lamar Jackson this season and will likely not be back with the Ravens in 2019.
The Jags have interviewed candidates for their offensive coordinator job, and have overhauled much of their staff on that side of the ball.
In conversations with potential coaches, it has become clear that Blake Bortles is not an option back there next season, and sources said Flacco, Eagles backup Nick Foles and Dolphins oft-injured starter Ryan Tannehill are names the Jaguars front office are considering. Flacco is reportedly open to the idea of playing in Jacksonville.
The former Super Bowl MVP is set to make $18.5M in 2019 and has no future guarantees or bonus payments remaining on his deal.
