Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone has announced that Blake Bortles will be the starting QB for the Jaguars Week 17 matchup against the Houston Texans. Bortles was benched for backup Cody Kessler earlier in the season, but entered the game against the Dolphins on Sunday in relief of Kessler and drove the Jaguars down the field for a go-ahead field goal. The Jaguars ended up winning the game 17-7.
It has been previously reported that the Jaguars are expected to move on from Bortles in the offseason.
