Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston has reached a settlement with the Arizona Uber driver who accused him of groping her in her car during a ride in 2016, per Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times.
Winston was suspended by the NFL for three games for his role in the incident, citing that they found the accuser's claim "consistent and credible". The accuser filed a sexual battery lawsuit against Winston in September.
Winston is in the fourth year of his contract worth over $20 million, and the Bucs can exercise a fifth-year option that has an injury-only guarantee.
