There are 39 bowl games, which makes room for 78 teams. With 80 teams bowl eligible things are about to get dicey.
This happened last season with Western Michigan being the lone 6-6 FBS team left out. This will end with a couple of teams being forced to stay home despite winning six or more games.
Bowl season begins on Dec. 15.
