Via the Miami Hurricane's flagship station WQAM 560: Miami Hurricanes freshman QB Jarren Williams, who many had hoped would make an appearance in Saturdays game at Virginia Tech, did not travel with the team due to a suspension for breaking an undisclosed team rule. Williams has played in one game this season and is the third Canes QB to be suspended this year, following N’Kosi Perry, who was suspended for Miami’s opener against LSU. And Cade Weldon, who was suspended for Miami’s games against FSU, Virginia, Boston College and Duke.
Redshirt freshman N’Kosi Perry will make the start vs Virginia Tech on Saturday.
