The NBA's G-League will be instituting a new policy that will have major repercussions on NCAA basketball, especially in regards to the ACC and SEC.
The G-League will be offering "elite" high-school prospects in the country that aren't eligible for the NBA a $125,000 contract in place of playing in the NCAA for a year before entering the NBA Draft.
This will particularly impact the SEC and ACC, as it will eliminate the much of the top one-and-done talent that teams like Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina etc. often get.
The G-League will reportedly start recruiting players as early as the summer of 2019.
