Two weeks after returning to the AP Top 25, the Florida Gators are now just outside the top 10 of the college football rankings after coming back from 18 points down to beat Vanderbilt by 10 on Saturday afternoon on the road in Nashville, Tennessee. The Gators’ fourth straight win, third over an SEC opponent and second on the road has pollsters recognizing their vastly improved play after a Week 2 loss to Kentucky that looks way better now than it did at the time.
Florida checked in at No. 11 in the new edition of the AP Top 25, moving up three spots. The Gators saw a four-spot improvement in the Coaches Poll after entering at No. 16 a week ago, now slotting in at No. 12.
