Antonio Brown Facing Lawsuits After South Florida Incident

All-Pro Pittsburgh Steelers Wideout Antonio Brown is currently facing two lawsuits connected with an incident that happened in April earlier this year at his South Florida apartment complex. Brown was allegedly throwing furniture off the balcony of his 14th floor of The Mansions at Acqualina in Dade County. According to police reports Brown made a call to the Dade County Police department to report that $80,000 and a gun had been stolen from his apartment - Antonio felt like he had been set up by security and began to throw furniture off the balcony in a fit of rage.

The lawsuits come from the owner of the condo Brown had leased the apartment from for damages and breaching the apartment agreement; and from guardian of a twenty-two month old boy that was only a few feet away from where the thrown furniture was landing on the ground below.  The guardian of the child,  Ophir Sternerg released a statement on the incident on Tuesday:

"Mr. Brown's out of control and inexcusable behavior could have killed my son. His reckless tantrum displayed complete disregard for the safety of others," Sternberg said. "We intend to hold Mr. Brown accountable, to hopefully ensure that something like this never happens again."
