We are starting to get somewhat of an idea of who will be playing where Thursday Night as the Jags open up pre-season play against the Saints at TIAA Bank Stadium.
A few interesting observations.
- Rookie 7th Round Pick Leon Jacobs is listed as a starter at the strong side line backer position.
- Keelan Cole and Marqise Lee are your starters at WR with DJ Chark and Dede Westbrook as backups. Donte Moncrief who the Jags spent almost $10 million in free agency has been battling injuries and his listed with the 3rd string.
- TJ Yeldon is Leonard Fournette's backup. Corey Grant is 3rd.
- Tyler Patmon and DJ Hayden are penciled in as AJ Bouye's and Jalen Ramsey's backups. One of them will start or see significant time at nickel.
- Taven Bryan is backing up Calais Campbell.
- Dante Fowler Jr, on the PUP list, is slated as Yannick Ngakoue's backup.
