Former ESPN college football writer Brett McMurphy released a report on Urban Meyer on Wednesday morning.
McMurphy says that Meyer lied last week when he said he wasn’t aware of the 2015 allegations of domestic violence against former wide receivers coach Zach Smith. McMurphy, in his report, which is posted on Facebook, provides text messages from Meyer’s wife Shelley that he say proves he knew.
The report also alleges that numerous assistants on Meyer’s staff knew of the situation. McMurphy provides text messages between the wives of Ohio State’s assistants regarding the allegations.
The report also includes photos of the injuries Courtney Smith sustained from the alleged abuse.
Urban Meyer and Ohio State have not yet responded to the report.
