UF AD Stricklin Earns Bonus Following Gators Directors Cup Finish

The Florida Gators finished 3rd overall in the Directors Cup standings for the 5th time in school history. UF had 10 total top ten finishes in 16 total sports and did not have enough sports to have scores omitted, scoring a total of 1216 points.

The Stanford Cardinals came in 1st place overall, having 4 national championships and 12 top ten finishes across 26 total sports with scores in -  women’s field hockey, football, wrestling, women’s gymnastics, men’s indoor track and field, women’s lacrosse, men’s tennis and national collegiate fencing - being omitted.

Placing so high in the standings has it's perks: Florida AD Scott Strickland is set to earn a $100,000 bonus as a result of the 3rd place finish.

A full list of the standing can be found here. Fellow SEC schools Georgia (8th) and Texas A&M (10th) made the top ten, with FSU also coming in 9th. Alabama, Arkansas, and Kentucky finished 14th, 16th, and 17th respectfully.
