Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey is one of the best defensive backs in the NFL, and he talks the trash to back it up. Last year in a game against the Bengals, Cincinnati WR AJ Green took exception to Ransey's trash talk and a push by Ramsey after a play, and responded by tackling Ramsey and throwing a few punches. This led to a brawl between the two teams, and an ejection of both Green and Ramsey.
In an episode of PFT Live, AJ Green stated that he doesn't have any real problems with Ramsey, and that it was a product of a heated moment.
“There’s no real beef,” Green said. “There’s no real beef off the field. There’s just two competitors. Got in the heat of the moment. Stuff happens. When you’re playing, it’s sports man. You know, tempers go crazy sometimes, and sometimes you can’t control emotions. I couldn’t control mine that day. [I’ve] got to do a better job of that.” AJ Green on PFT Live
Green also says that he'll be ready the next time the Bengals play the Jaguars, which unfortunately won't happen this season.
