After signing Nebraska's Tony White to come to Tallahassee as the new defensive coordinator for the Seminoles, there was a question of whether the Cornhusker's defensive line coach Terrance Knighton would join, and today that question was answered with a resounding yes.
Nebraska DL coach Terrance Knightom aka "Pot Roast" is joining the FSU staff at the same position.
Knighton is an 8-year NFL veteran who played his college ball at Temple.
Since the end of his playing career, Pot Roast has spent 2019 and 2020 as Wagner's defensive line coach before becoming the Carolina Panther's assistant defensive line coach in 2021 and 2022.
Knighton joined Matt Rhule's staff in 2023 and has spent the back two seasons in Lincoln, he is a highly regarded recruiter and talent developer that should be a breath of fresh air in the trenches of Florida State defenses.
