Four-Star QB Tramell Jones (Jacksonville, Florida) has de-committed from Florida State, per On3.
Jones is the nation's #247th ranked prospect, #21 ranked QB prospect, and #37 Florida prospect in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
Following the de-commitment on Thursday morning, Jones has scheduled a visit to Florida this weekend for the Gators matchup with the LSU Tigers, expect him to ultimately sign with Florida and Billy Napier.
The Elite 11 finalist had been committed to the Garnet & Gold since April of 2023.
Florida State's 2025 class now lacks a QB commit, while the staff is rumored to be in talks with other high-ranked prospects this is still an unfortunate reality.
