2025 Four-Star WR Daylan McCutcheon Flips from Florida State to Texas

The Florida State Seminoles have experienced a rough stretch on the recruiting trail with several flips and de-commitments, which continued Thursday.

2025 Four-Star wide receiver Daylan McCutcheon has flipped his commitment from the Florida State Seminoles to the Texas Longhorns, per 247Sports.

McCutcheon's flip marks the second wide receiver in the 2025 cycle to de-commit from FSU, joining Malik Clark, who announced his decommitment from the Garnet and Gold on October 2nd.

McCutcheon, 5"11 175 pounds, is the no. 107 nationally ranked player, no. 14 ranked wide receiver, and no. 2 Texas prospect in the 2025 cycle per 247Sports.

The lone wide receiver commit left in Florida State's 2025 recruiting class is four-star CJ Wiley (Alpharetta, GA).

Florida State's 2025 class now ranks 37th in college football.
