The Georgia Bulldogs secured a bounce-back solid win on Saturday in The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry over Auburn. The Mean Machine took care of business following a tough loss on the road vs Alabama.
On Monday, following the program's eighth straight win over War Eagle, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart updated the injury report for week seven.
While Kirby wasn't in the most talkative or revealing mood, he shared a few words about the beat-up Bulldogs.
Two notable players did not play against Auburn; arguably, the most crucial was center Jared Wilson, who suffered an injury in the late minutes against Alabama.
Drew Bobo took over the starting reigns on Saturday and did a solid job against an adequate Auburn defensive front.
Kirby Smart on Jared Wilson and Christen Miller: "Yea, I hope they will be able to play, we will find out more today".
Miller left the Auburn game with a knee injury in the fourth quarter.
Linebacker Smael Mondon also missed the game. Coach Smart was explicitly asked what injury he was dealing with and the status of his recovery time. Last Wednesday, he said, "We hope to get him back soon."
Mondon was seen with crutches and a boot on the sideline.
Jordan Hall and Mykel Williams were both listed as game-time decisions. Hall (leg) did not play, and Williams (ankle) played only six snaps.
A complete injury update will be available Wednesday evening per the new SEC mandates regarding availability reports.
Georgia will kick off vs Mississippi State on Saturday at 4:15 PM ET.
