Florida Basketball Secures 2025 Four-Star Guard CJ Ingram

Fox Sports Radio Jacksonville

The Florida Gators basketball program landed four-star dual-sport standout CJ Ingram, a 6-foot-6 combo guard from Orlando (Fla.).

Ingram enters Gainsville as a legacy recruit; his father, Cornelius Ingram, was an all-conference tight end for the Gators from 2004 to 2007 and was also a member of the Florida basketball team.

CJ Ingram visited coach Todd Golden's program in June. He is On3's No. 6 shooting guard and No. 26 overall recruit nationally in the 2025 class.

Ingram played quarterback at Hawthorne (Fla.) the past few seasons, being recruited by the football program to play receiver.

When asked by On3's Joe Tipton what type of player Florida was getting, he stated: “A two-way slasher,” he told On3. “A physical guard who can guard multiple positions and play the one through three, and can defend, rebound, score or facilitate.”
